« Introducing Service Registry - a universal, validating, and versioned artifact storage »
18:35 - 19:00
JUDCon Conference [Amphi 139]

A long awaited Service Registry has arrived! In this presentation we’ll do a quick dive into registry’s implementation, specially its configurable storage types, which range from pure Kafka to Kafka Streams, JPA, Infinispan and development mode in-memory. The implementation uses the super fast, innovative Quarkus framework, to assemble the services and different REST API facades - from Confluent’s to IBM’s, which means users don’t have to rewrite their apps to use our registry. We’ll also show how to setup and use the registry as Kafka schema registry with Red Hat AMQ Streams in a simple demo app.
