« Event-Driven Architecture: Keeping your Sanity »
14:30 - 15:20
JUDCon Conference [Amphi 139]

Event-Driven Architecture is a recent buzzword for developers of distributed systems, along with others like CQRS, Event-Sourcing, and Outbox pattern. If you’re not familiar with what they all mean, it’s very confusing as to how they relate or don’t relate, and what they actually mean. We take the attendee through Event-Driven Architecture, explaining these pieces and how the different patterns and technologies can be interwoven in developing a distributed system.

With an understanding of the pieces, we look at how Quarkus helps to implement an Event-Driven Architecture that utilizes some of the patterns we covered. All while re-using the attendees' knowledge of Enterprise Java development.
